A simple old fashioned monogrammed ring in a southern octagon font. for a man or woman, with the letter "J" appearing in the middle. We think it reads EJF, with the center "J" referring to the surname (or last name). The other 2 letters could refer to the first names of a couple, or could be a first and middle name. This is a very nice monogrammed enamel signet ring with great enamel flourishes and in great condition, US size 8.

Lovely Victorian 18K cluster ring with 14 outside diamonds marking the border and 3 larger old mine cut diamonds at the center. The diamonds are set in silver, as was the custom of the day (it was felt that the cool tones of silver set off the cool tones of diamonds more attractively). The diamonds are a-jour meaning the ring is open "to the day" (open backed and accessible to the light) as shown in the photos. This ring can be worn and enjoyed everyday and is not just a "special occasion" ring....
