Lovely prominent amethyst ring in the Arts and Crafts style. The large and lovely amethyst is bordered by a silver border of well defined leaves - even the veining of the leaves can be seen, along with the round fruit of the branch. Theory behind the Arts and Crafts movement was that less was more and that one significant piece of jewelry was was better than several pieces- therefore, the individual piece of jewelry tended to be large. Hence, this ring is substantial. We believe several rings would look great with this ring, however, despite its large size. The ring is a US 5 ½ and is sizeable.
