HM Bham 1897, our Sterling Albert Chain Link Necklace is a solid and lovely sterling silver link Albert chain, complete with "dog tag" clip from which to attach your favorite locket or pendant. Such necklaces were named for Queen Victoria's husband "Albert", who popularized the formality of wearing a vest with his pocket watch and a fob on a chain, the watch in the vest pocket, the fob and T Bar dangling as decoration. The photos show our sterling silver 29" Albert chain worn with a rock crystal "Pools of Light" locket (as they were known) instead of a watch. Our locket is available on our website as well. There is a maker's mark EWS on each link of the chain.
