Rare Wedgwood early Victorian blue and white jasperware bead necklace. Jasperware is a type of pottery developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s. Noted for its matte finish it was produced in a number of colors of which the best known is a pale blue now known as Wedgwood Blue, as in the piece. The necklace measures 18 1/4" long.
