This modern streamlined 3 stone diamond gypsy band ring is sharp looking and would make a great stacking ring and works with other bands. The gypsy setting is a method of recessing a stone slightly into the surface of the metal and holding it in place with beaded settings, creating a decorative star or diamond shape where the metal is chiseled up to form the beads. The stones are set into the surface of the metal. This ring is hallmarked for Birmingham in 1960 and is set in 22 carat. There is the initial "M" on the inside of the band. Gypsy rings have been popular since the Victorian period because their secure settings make them virtually indestructible. Wear them everyday and even exposed to moisture this ring will perform just fine.
