Light as a feather, this lovely simple Victorian 15K rope chain with 2 sets of symmetrically placed balls set equidistant down the length of a chain, feels and looks elegant. Nineteenth century chains were hand worked and fashioned laboriously; one look at the details of this chain shows you this is so. Note the hand forged balls with four tiny circles of twisted gold spaced around the ball, a lovely detail. The chain is 36 inches long and does not have a clasp so you simply place it over your head and let it hang as a single chain, or it can be doubled around one's neck, as seen in the last photo. There is a dog clip, easily opened with one's thumb to attach a pendant.
