Delightful Victorian dog head earrings of pinchbeck set with black glass eyes. Pinchbeck is an alloy named for Christopher Pinchbeck who was a watchmaker and developed the alloy for his watch cases. It has no gold in it but does not tarnish and always stays bright and shiny. The earrings measure 1 3/4" long by 3/4" at their widest. Wonderful to wear to cheer up the day.
