Dramatic Victorian triple hoop pique earrings inlaid with gold and silver. The tops have a floral motif while the hoops are geometric. Pique work, tortoiseshell inlaid with gold and silver, was brought to England by the Huguenots who fled religious persecution by the French in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Earrings are 2 1/2" long and 7/8" at their widest.
