Jewelry was a sideline of this mirror factory in the Vauxhall region of London. Surviving vauxhall jewelry is rare. The little mirrors sparkle like diamonds. This vauxhall glass beetle brooch is made of tiny black mirrors. . Brooches are in vogue, the latest fashion statement. Wear this brooch on a hat, a lapel or on the back of a coat, circa 1860.

Brilliant early Victorian deep cobalt blue Vauxhall glass oval earrings. Vauxhall glass jewelry was made from mirrored glass at the Vauxhall Glassworks in London from the 1700's through the mid 1800's and sold at the nearby Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. They were known for their intense colors and reflective mirror-like glass. These earrings measure 1" long by 1/2" at their widest.

Victorian buckle bracelet beautifully engraved with clover leaves and a geometric design. The bracelet is stamped "Sterling". Buckle bracelets became very popular when Queen Victoria wore the Order of the Garter on her arm. The bracelet measures 1 3/16" wide. The interior dimensions are 1 7/8" wide by 2 1/8" long.

This is a Worcester soft paste porcelain tea bowl and saucer, in the the well known Worcester pattern "sworl" or "Queen Charlotte", named for Queen Charlotte, wife of George 111 who bought a service for royal use. Ours is marked with the "scratch B" mark of the Flight and Barr period, c 1795. Priced at $ 1200.

Striking Victorian bracelet of gutta percha and French jet. These two substances were used often in the late 1800's when dark jewelry became popular. French jet is black glass that is easily molded into beads and other shapes. Gutta percha is a latex substance from Malaysian trees used to make jewelry.
