Lovely Victorian floral motif pique hinged bangle bracelet. Pique is tortoise shell inlaid with gold and silver. It was brought to England by the Huguenots at the end of the 17th century. It reached the height of its popularity in the 1870s and 80's. This wonderful example will be great to wear day or night. It measures 7/8" wide. The interior measurements are 2 1/8" by 2".
Lovely Georgian turquoise enamel on gilt metal earrings fit close to the ear. The earrings are in the style of Queen Anne, who ruled England from 1702-1714, but were crafted during the reign of King George II. They measure approximately 1" by 1".
